Lisa Garcia             Brett A. Margulis

Lisa Garcia, Client Services Coordinator, has worked in the firm since February 2008.  She works closely with the Attorneys in the firm to ensure clear communications with clients, advisors and other firm relations to facilitate a welcoming and warm, professional firm environment.  Over the years, Lisa has dabbled with various careers in medical research, the hospitality industry, and within the financial sector.  Her continued interaction with people across such diverse disciplines lends itself to her ability to effectively communicate with clients at all levels.  Having worn so many “hats” enables her to easily connect with clients in many facets.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in Boston and an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.  She has held many positions in restaurants over the years, including owning and operating a small restaurant in Wayland, MA.  Lisa worked in a medical research laboratory at Beth Israel Hospital for nearly 10 years, studying the biological foundations of learning disabilities and other developmental neurological disorders.  She left neuroscience to raise her children in 1998.  Beginning in 2001, she spent three years as a part-time client coordinator for a small financial advisory firm, which she left to pursue a dream of opening her own restaurant.  She joined the firm after selling her business in early 2008.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Raul and children Ben, Carlos and Marisela.  She also loves traveling, sports, entertaining, hiking, music, laughing and is active with her children’s schools in several volunteer positions.

Brett A. Margulis, Client Concierge, has worked with the firm since September 2008. His duties include assisting clients with firm communications, networking and general clerical assistance. Coming from a background in the hospitality industry, his nature lends itself to understanding the needs of clients and how to best address those needs within the firm. Brett acts as a liaison between members of the firm and clients when necessary, and plays a supportive role in firm.  Brett also assists with accounting and bookkeeping services for the firm’s corporate and business clients.

Originally from Long Island, he attended Nassau Community College and earned his degree in liberal arts. Brett lived in Colorado with his wife Maria, before settling in the Boston area in 2008. He enjoys outdoor activities, snowboarding, spending time with his extended family and traveling with his wife.
